Truck Presentations

City of Houma Fire Department fire trucks visits schools every year to promote fire safety. Scheduling a fire truck visit to your school is easy. Would your school like a visit from one of our fire trucks? Then contact our Fire Inspection/Prevention office to schedule your visit. Our office will need your name, school name, grade and number of kids. Then give the date and time you wish the fire truck to visit your school.

All presentations are subject to change, as all our fire trucks are in service and may need to responded to an emergency. Should the fire truck receive an alarm during your presentation, the presentation will end.

Station Tours

City of Houma Fire Department allows schools and groups to tour our fire stations. Station tours last 30 to 45 minutes. Tours include viewing the station, fire trucks and equipment, a fire safety speech and a chance to talk with the firefighters.

Station tours must be scheduled in advance. If your school or group would be interested in planning a trip to one of our fire stations, please call our Fire Inspection/Prevention office. Give your name, school or group name and number of kids. Then let them know the date and time your school or group would like to visit our station.

All tours are subject to change, as the firefighters at the stations are on duty and may need to responded to an emergency. Should the station receive an alarm during your tour, the tour will end.
